Alison Joyner, a violinist, graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor's of Music in violin performance from the University of Arizona, where she studied with Mark Rush. While teaching Suzuki Violin at the Music Academy of Tucson, she was also appointed as both Department Head of Kindermusik, as well as Artistic Director of Fiddling Around Summer Camp. She served as String Coordinator for Basis Middle School and High School for two years, and was on the faculty of the University of Arizona's String Project.

Currently, she is working in the Mosaica School System, and is in the process of franchising a Kindermusik studio here in Columbus, OH. She enjoys teaching both violin and fiddle, and plays locally with the Cowtown Coalition.
